Short Bio

Danielle Sangita Rottenberg is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, massage therapist, an Ayurvedic yoga therapist and Yoga teacher. At the age of 25, she started her own non-profit agency where she brought together the healing powers of the arts to people with developmental, physical, and emotional challenges. This non- profit, Creative Clay Cultural Arts Center, continues to this day, 23 years later and has been recognized on an international level for its success in integrating the arts with people of various challenges.

Danielle Sangita received her initial training in Ayurveda at the California College of Ayurveda in 2008. She furthered her studies in Ayurveda under the guidance of Dr. Paul Dugliss of New World Ayurveda, Dr. Light Miller of Ayurvedic College for Wellbeing and David Crow for Ayurvedic Aromatherapy. She has extensive training in traditional ayurvedic therapies and modalities including abhyanga, shirodhara, marma therapy, aromatherapy, and herbal medicine to help those restore and rejuvenate. She has worked as a Pancha Karma Therapist at Blue Lotus Ayurveda in Asheville, with Vishnu Das, and The Art of Living/Shankara Ayurvedic Spa in Boone, receiving further education on the therapies involved with Pancha Karma treatments. As a massage therapist and yoga teacher, she integrates a wealth of healing knowledge and clinical experience into her ayurveda consultations, classes, and workshops. She currently maintains a successful and growing private practice in Black Mountain and Swannanoa for the last decade. In 2015, Danielle founded her second nonprofit organization: The Yoga Service Movement, where she provides free yoga and health/wellness classes to underserved populations. This has continued to grow in popularity as the need is great. She continues to grow as a practitioner and is currently pursuing her interest in energetic healing, reiki and Chakra balancing and would like to expand into working with women in the Profit and Nonprofit Sector.
